About Me…

Hey there! My name is Kevin Zhang and I lead the development of SaaS Cloud Platform for Vertex Inc., the premier market leader in enterprise tax technology.

This is my personal blog. It is focused on bridging technologists and business professionals to create highly functional teams through “virtuous leadership”.

My philosophy is if you want a team technologists and business professionals working harmoniously to create amazing products, you need to have virtue as a leader.

Aristotle defines virtue as

“Virtue means doing the right thing, in relation to the right person, at the right time, to the right extent, in the right manner, and for the right purpose. Thus, to give money away is quite a simple task, but for the act to be virtuous, the donor must give to the right person, for the right purpose, in the right amount, in the right manner, and at the right time.”

My goal is to provide you with insightful and actionable content that you can apply both personally and professionally. Whether you’re already are or aspiring to be a leader in either the technical or business realm, this blog is designed with you in mind.

I typically post 3 to 4 times a week. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via email.
